The course can be accessed by anyone within or outside of the UK, and typically includes one evening session a week, from 6.15pm til 9.15pm. This is not an accredited course, but ideal for keyworkers, support workers, trainee /qualified counsellors & anyone who wants to learn and develop using CBT. You will receive a House Diploma Certificate from us here at Key Counselling Training.​

Specialist Diploma in CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a specific element of therapy training that teaches you techniques designed to treat clients with a variety of issues, such as anxiety, depression, phobias, addictions, behavioural issues, anger and much more.

We occasionally offer CBT therapy training at our training centre in Birmingham however, it is mostly offered via remote learning and is accessed online via Zoom (or similar), whereby you'll be in a virtual classroom environment with your tutor and peers present on a weekly basis, providing a high level of learning and support.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is available in Birmingham and nationally. International provision with remote learning via Zoom (or a similar platform).
Over the duration of the training, you’ll be working to earn a Specialist Diploma in CBT Training, which is suitable for support workers, teachers, carers, managers, supervisors, teaching support staff and any other professionals who work within schools, charities, the NHS, the Social Services and other organisations. This Diploma can also be added to your existing qualifications if you’re a professional counsellor. It is not accredited but will count toward your CPD hours.
Course fees and details
Our CBT training courses involve 60 hours of study. However, you will carry out your training over 20 weeks to allow you maximum time to reflect and consolidate everything that you learn, whilst putting it into practice via supervised training which is designed to hone your skills. This remote learning enables you to connect with your peers and tutor every week to develop your learning of CBT, the concepts and the skills in the process.
The fee for this training is £699. and can be spread across the 20 weeks of training, after the initial £50 deposit, which is non refundable and reserves your place on the course.
